Youth Heart Screening Check-In Volunteer: During this Living for Zachary Heart Screening event, volunteers will welcome and check-in patients for their heart screening. Volunteers will create a welcoming environment for families and be available to answer questions regarding Living for Zachary’s programs and services.
Red Out Game Volunteer: Each fall, Living for Zachary hosts several Red Out sports games within Plano ISD to honor Zachary Schrah’s life and legacy. Held annually since Living for Zachary’s inception, these events are a long-standing tradition with the purpose of raising awareness of our mission and programs amongst the school community and attendees. Volunteers will sell Red Out t-shirts to event attendees and be available to answer questions regarding Living for Zachary’s programs and services.
HeartBeats Gala Volunteer: The Living for Zachary HeartBeats Gala is our largest annual fundraising event held each February during American Heart Month. Each year, the HeartBeats Gala hosts businesses and community leaders, physicians and members of the medical community and Living for Zachary supporters. Depending upon specific Gala needs and assignment, volunteers may assist with a variety of tasks including event set up, guest check-in/check-out, directional assistance, data entry, greeting, and more.
